TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These general terms and conditions of Hair Extensions by Char BV apply to all agreements, treatments and agreements entered into by us.

Cancellation Policy

Appointments can be canceled free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. For cancellations within 48 hours, Hair Extensions by Char has the right to charge €50.00 per reserved hour. This amount is based on the time reserved for you, as stated in the appointment confirmation. If you do not show up for an appointment, you will also be charged €50.00 per reserved hour.

Pay in installments

If you pay in 2 or 3 installments, you pay the first installment in the salon, then pay the remaining installments monthly by direct debit. These are implemented in weekly batches, so the next period is always scheduled approximately 1 month later.

Take your debit card and a valid ID with you, you will need these to use this scheme. You sign a form in the salon and we take a photo of your ID and debit card. It is not possible to use a credit card for payments in installments.

Payment

If you do not opt ​​for a subscription, payment by debit or credit card must be made immediately after the treatment. Cash payments are not accepted.

Before and after photos

Before and after the treatment, photos are taken of the hair, which are stored in the customer file. If you do not want photos, the treatment cannot take place. You will be unrecognizable in these photos.

Consent form

During the treatment you may be asked to sign a consent form. This confirms that you want treatment against the advice of the specialist. The warranty expires upon signing.

Care advice

Our care advice, which you will receive at your first appointment and which can be found on our website, is part of these general terms and conditions. Hair extensions can be harmful to your own hair if they are cared for incorrectly or if they are worn for too long. Follow the care advice carefully and never leave your extensions on for longer than 4 months. If the advice is not adhered to, Hair Extensions by Char is not liable for damage to your own hair or extensions.

Complaints handling

If you have any complaints or damage to your own hair or extensions, you must contact Hair Extensions by Char immediately, but in any case within 3 days. We will do our utmost to limit the damage. Your cooperation is required. If you do not report in a timely manner or do not cooperate, Hair Extensions by Char is not liable for damages or claims.

A complaint does not suspend your payment obligation and does not give the right to settlement or termination of the agreement.

Limitation of liability

If Hair Extensions by Char is liable for any damage, this is limited to direct damage and a maximum of the amount of the relevant treatment. Consequential damage will under no circumstances be reimbursed.

Hair Extensions by Char is not liable for damage if you remove your extensions yourself or have them removed by third parties. Liability also expires for treatments by third parties.

Hair Extensions by Char is not liable for damage caused by hormonal disruptions, medication use, stress, pregnancy, operations, allergic reactions or other factors that affect the quality of your hair.

Guarantee

We offer a three-month warranty for the situations below.

The warranty covers failed hair extensions from Hair Extensions by Char. This means that extensions that fall out within three months of placement will be reattached free of charge, provided you keep the fallen strands and take them with you. Lost strands are not replaced by new extensions.

The warranty does not include a money back policy.

Warranty claims are only valid if you have strictly followed our care advice and used the recommended Hair Extensions by Char products to wash and care for your extensions. Other shampoos and/or care products can damage the (attachments of the) extensions. If there is any doubt about the use of the correct products, you must provide proof of purchase.

The warranty on fallen extensions only applies if you have them replaced by Hair Extensions by Char. Third-party costs for replacing or installing new extensions, as well as additional treatments by yourself or third parties, will not be reimbursed.

The warranty is void if third parties have treated (e.g. cutting, trimming, repositioning) or removed your extensions, and Hair Extensions by Char is not obliged to provide any warranty in that case.

The warranty will also lapse if the complaints procedure is not followed, including:

• Failure to report a complaint in a timely manner. This must be done within three days of the complaint arising.
• Not wanting to come or not showing up for a check-up appointment.

Reviews

Reviews on platforms such as Google, Facebook and Trustpilot are monitored. Reviews from people who are not customers are reported as inappropriate. Misleading reviews are requested to be removed.

Hair Extensions by Char and its employees do not post positive reviews for the purpose of promotion.

Applicable law

Dutch law applies to all agreements and activities. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district of the Hair Extensions by Char branch.

Intellectual property

Copying the care advice, these general terms and conditions, internet and marketing texts and concepts of Hair Extensions by Char is not permitted without written permission.

 GDPR privacy law

When entering into the customer / supplier relationship, you give Hair Extensions by Char BV permission to process data about you and your appointments / treatment(s) in the context of the service to be provided. This permission also includes:

1. processing personal data in my customer file;
2. providing personal data to third parties for payments, direct debits, etc.;
