Terms and Conditions

1.1 Appointments can be canceled free of charge up to 48 hours in advance.

1.2 For cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows, €75 per reserved hour will be charged.

2.1 Payment is made by pin immediately after the treatment. Cash payments are not accepted.

2.2 When taking out a subscription, a down payment is made in the salon, followed by payment by direct debit.

3.1 Hair Extensions by Char offers customers the option to take out an interest-free subscription to pay for the treatment in installments:

• Keratin Wax subscription: Includes the placement of the extensions, one service appointment, and the professional removal of the extensions.
• Genius Invisible Wefts subscription: Includes the placement of the extensions, four maintenance appointments (re-tightening), and the professional removal of the extensions.

3.2 The subscription is entered into when a new set of extensions is placed. The customer pays the first installment directly in the salon and authorizes Hair Extensions by Char for the automatic direct debit of the remaining installments.

3.3 Obligations under the subscription

To take out the subscription, the customer is required to bring a valid ID and a mobile phone with a banking app to make the first payment in the salon. The customer commits to making the agreed payments according to the chosen scheme on time.

Direct debit: The remaining installments are automatically debited from the account number provided by the customer. The automatic collection takes place between the 1st and 4th day of each month. The customer is responsible for sufficient balance on the account at the time of collection.

Failed collections: If a collection cannot be executed (for example due to insufficient balance), Hair Extensions by Char will contact the customer for an alternative payment method.

Non-payment and collection costs: If the customer fails to pay despite reminders, Hair Extensions by Char is entitled to engage an external collection agency (JuristU). All additional costs, such as collection costs, interest, and any legal costs, are entirely for the account of the customer.

3.4 Consent and confirmation for the subscription

By signing the authorization form in the salon, the customer declares:

• The accuracy of the data provided;
• To accept the chosen payment arrangement;
• To give permission for automatic direct debit;
• To accept the general terms and conditions of Hair Extensions by Char;
• To have read the care advice from Hair Extensions by Char.

3.5 Any changes to bank details or other relevant information must be communicated to Hair Extensions by Char by the customer in good time. An authorization once given cannot be terminated prematurely once the payment arrangement has started.

3.6 Appointments in case of payment arrears

Appointments that are part of a subscription (such as re-tightening appointments or the professional removal of the extensions) are only scheduled and carried out when the customer has NO payment arrears. Hair Extensions by Char reserves the right to cancel or reschedule planned appointments in the event of a payment arrears.

At Hair Extensions by Char we always work on a custom basis. The calculator therefore gives an indication of the treatment and the associated investment.

During the consultation, we look at your own hair, your wishes and what is technically the most beautiful and responsible. It may therefore happen that we deviate from the outcome of the calculator in consultation. The final price may then be slightly lower or higher, depending on what is needed for the best result.

The calculator is intended as a guideline. No rights can be derived from the outcome.

5.1 The customer is obliged to follow the care advice of Hair Extensions by Char, which can be found entirely on our care advice page.

5.2 Important guidelines:

• Only use mild, natural products without silicones, sulfates or parabens (preferably N\O Creative Haircare).
• Never dye or bleach extensions.
• Only use hair oil in the ends, not near the attachments.
• Avoid sunscreen and self-tanner on extensions to prevent stains.
• Brush the hair daily with a special extension brush, work from the bottom up.
• Always use a heat protectant, maximum 180 degrees.
• With Genius Invisible Wefts, it is necessary to have them moved up every 7 weeks for wearing comfort and quality retention.
• Removal must always be done by a professional from Hair Extensions by Char.

5.3 Hair Extensions by Char is not liable for damage caused by not following these guidelines.

6.1 Hair Extensions by Char is not liable for:

• Discoloration due to external influences or products;
• Damage caused by third parties or self-removal of extensions;
• Hormonal influences, medication use, stress, pregnancy or allergies;
• Damage caused by not following the care advice.

6.2 Liability is limited to direct damage and maximum the amount of the treatment.

7.1 Complaints must be reported within 3 days.

7.2 Reports after this period or refusal of a service appointment voids any liability.

7.3 A complaint does not suspend the payment obligation.

8.1 Only real customers may post a review.

8.2 Fake reviews will be reported and removed.

9.1 It is not permitted to copy or use our texts, photos, advice or concepts without written permission.

10.1 By making an appointment, you consent to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of the services.

11.1 By booking an appointment, the customer declares to be of legal age (18+) and legally competent to independently enter into agreements and financial obligations.

11.2 Persons whose assets are placed under protective administration (onderbewindstelling as referred to in Article 1:431 of the Dutch Civil Code) are not permitted to book appointments or enter into a subscription without the prior written consent of their court-appointed administrator (bewindvoerder), as required by Article 1:438 of the Dutch Civil Code.

11.3 The customer is personally responsible for disclosing the existence of any protective administration prior to booking and for obtaining the required consent. Failure to do so constitutes a breach by the customer; Hair Extensions by Char may rely in good faith on the customer's statement of legal capacity.

11.4 Any consequences arising from a missing or invalid consent — including but not limited to nullification of the agreement, refused payments or recovery actions by the administrator — are entirely for the account and risk of the customer. Hair Extensions by Char remains entitled to full payment for services already rendered.

12.1 Dutch law applies to all agreements.

12.2 Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district of our branch.
