Errors at Extensions? Avoid these mistakes! 😣

Hair Extensions can make your hair and you shine beautifully - but only if they are well placed and cared for.

Unfortunately we often see customers coming in with extensions that are quickly, damaged or look unnatural. This is usually due to a few common mistakes:

❌ Wrong method - Not every technique fits your hair type and lifestyle. We are happy to help you choose the right method. That can be methods from our salon, or we advise something else if we think that fit better.

❌ Poor quality hair - not all "100% real hair" is the same. Much hair on the market is chemically edited, contains silicone coatings or is mixed with synthetic fibers. This ensures that it quickly gets tangled, dry and stiff. (We explained this extensively in a video on our 'Quality Haar' website).

❌ Too thick or too thin tufts of the own hair - if too thin tufts of your own hair are caught, it can lead to hair loss. The opposite is also true, too thick tufts ensures that there is too much tension on the start, causing the hair to pull and break. In both cases this can cause hair break.

❌ Wrong care - products with silicone, sulfates and parabens affect the extensions. At Wax Extensions it is extra babysitting with oil. The wax bonds should not come into contact with oil-rich products. Because of this they slide out of the hair.

❌ No regular maintenance agreements - extensions grow out, and without service/maintenance agreements, it becomes less beautiful and tangible.

At Hair Extensions by Char we ensure that you do not make these mistakes. We work with top stylists, the best quality 100% real hair, give personal advice, offer a guarantee on our extensions and with our subscription you are assured of the right treatments so that you can enjoy your hair for as long as possible.
