From a trip to Bali to the first salon

Hair Extensions by Char was created during a trip with my boyfriend to Bali, at a time in my life when I had regained my strength. After a wonderful career in PR and Communications, I knew for sure that I wanted to do business!

The fact that my friend is a born entrepreneur and the best coach/cheerleader certainly helped 🙂 

This idea became reality within 100 days, I came up with and designed the corporate identity, we wrote the business plan and financial plan.
At the same time, I looked for the best hair on the market and tested it. Looking for the perfect property in Eindhoven was also quite a challenge from a distance. My sister-in-law Romy did the viewing and we received the key on November 1, 2022!

In 10 days, with the help of friends and family, we transformed the space into a FABULOUS salon!

Do what makes you happy 

In the Hair Extensions by Char concept I can express my love for Beauty, Interior Styling, Branding and PR. Because doing what makes me happy and at the same time helping others is my DRIVE! I believe that life is manageable and that you can achieve anything you desire by working hard and believing in yourself, your team and your idea.  

How do I look back on this adventure? It gave and still gives an incredibly POWERFUL feeling and the result is a beautiful physical salon and (online) brand! And the best news: more salons will follow!
